Cameron Hunter

Cameron Hunter, RMT
A recently graduated and registered massage therapist, Cameron is excited to launch his career at The Lighthouse Massage Therapy, an independent massage clinic located inside the Canadian Performance Athletic Centre with access to top-of-the-line equipment and amenities. After a 20 year career as a general contractor and tradesperson, his love of physical fitness and time spent in gyms inspired a career change into healthcare, with a focus on massage therapy that bridges performance and recovery. He sees this opportunity as a chance to apply his knowledge, grow his skillset, and serve the local community through hands-on care. With a deep appreciation for anatomy and the human body as a finely tuned machine, Cameron is passionate about helping clients improve function, accelerate recovery, and find meaningful stress relief. He believes treatment should give clients a break from their daily troubles while also targeting the root of physical issues. Equally comfortable providing relaxation-focused massage or applying advanced techniques for specific needs, he performs thorough assessments to develop customized treatment plans tailored to each individual client. Cameron also offers cupping massage therapy as well as indie head massage modalities. With a niche in sports therapy and recovery, Cameron looks forward to supporting athletes and active individuals of all levels on their wellness journey.
